Linlithgow is a town between Stirling and Edinburgh. It doesn't have much to tempt the discriminating sightseer except Linlithgow Palace, where Mary, Queen of Scots was born. The palace is in ruins, but tourists are free to clamber around. This is the centerpiece of the courtyard. |
