England '95

My third trip to the UK took me back to London and Edinburgh, plus York, this time in the company of a darling young lass named Catherine. (No, you can't call her Cathy. But I can call her Cat. It's a personal privilege.)

Same ol' routine, click on a thumbnail for something bigger. First up, London, then onto York further down the page.

tower thumb Here's a new view of the Tower of London. Do you like the roses? I like the roses.
That's a very big face on the lawn of the British Museum. Yes indeed, a VERY big face. British Museum thumb
Before leaving England, we hopped off the train for a few days in York, a lovely city with most of the medieval walls still protecting the central region. Here is the old gateway into downtown York. York1

Cat & I in the ruins of an old York hospital. Stone coffins nearby cast doubt on the success rate of York's doctors. Tom & Cat
York4 What's a British city without pubs? This one is colorful, and it has a great name!
