Gun Control

Three Problems with Gun Control

1.The Second Amendment

2.Guns Save Lives

3.Gun Control is a Complete Failure

more to come...

The assault weapons ban, and the high capacity magazine ban expires on Sept. 13, 2004, right before the election. Hopefully it won't get renewed. It would be political suicide for Bush, and anybody in Congress from a rural area. This is why 2002 is important, we need pro gun rightists to fight this when the time comes, just in case.

I support the repeal of the National Firearms Act of 1934(which "taxes" and registers fully automatic firearms, short barreled shotguns and rifles), the Gun Control Act of 1968(which set up the Federal Firearm Licensing system for dealers, among other things), the Machine Gun ban of the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986(which repealed parts of the GCA68, and also banned transfer of newly made Full Auto Firearms), the Protection from Handgun Violence Act of 1994 aka the Brady Bill(which set up background checks), the Crime Act of 1994(which banned certain semi-automatic firearms which have certain features, aka "Assualt Weapons"), the Lautenburg Amendment of 1995(which deprived persons in a divorce suit from owning weapons), the Exexutive Order banning importation of "Assualt Weapons", and the abolition of the Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearms(the agency which enforces the above firearm laws, and also are Jack Booted Thugs out to deprive citizens of there rights, and sometimes their lives); all because the are unconstitutional, and have all failed misserably.
