He presents some great points. Campaign Finance Reform will only give more power to the government and take more liberty from the citizens. That is why liberals and the media love it so much. It gives them more power. All campaign finance laws should be repealed immediately. I see no provision in the Constitution that gives Congress any power over the financing of elections. If anybody can give me one I'd love to see it.

McCain's new CFR bill is an abomination to the Constitution. First, Congress has no power over the financing of campaigns. See Art I, Sect 8, and Amendment 10. It was never delegated that power, and as such it can exercise it. Plus, it also violates the 1st, 9th, and probably a few others. Hopefully the House will never pass it, and if it does, Bush won't sign it.

12/27/01 Update: Well, CFR died a while back in the House, mostly because of Gephart's fear that he woudn't have the votes, plue he wanted to make an issue out of it for the elections.

Now McCain, a traitor to the Republicans and the Republic, is trying to use the Terrorist attacks to push for CFR. He's getting help from the reliable media, who's bias is evident to everybody.
