Reba's first contact with our family was when Laura went to Mexico in August 1999 to work at the Mazahua Mission, which is managed by her parents Norberto and Lisa. The rest of the family got to meet her when we went down to visit the mission in June 2000. There had been some discussion in the Fall of 2000 that Reba might come along back with Laura. It actually did not happen until January 2001, when she joined the junior class at Manheim Central. She has led a busy life since then, participating in "Bye Bye Birdie", the Spring musical, and going to the prom with Rodney Groff who has developed into a good friend. After summer vacation started, in quick order, she picked up her driver's license, a car (a 1988 Nova), and a job. (Working in the deli at Weis Markets.) She leads a busy life, and has added a lot to our family.
